Racing Spikes for track,?

Im a Freshmen in High school.


%26amp; i need a new pair of racing spikes for track season.





I'm running the


300m hurdles


100m dash


%26amp; 400m dash


as well as the the tripple jump %26amp; long jump





I need a good pair of shoes


any ideas on what kind,bradn, etc..

Reply:yeah Asics or Nike. I have a pair of asics Rocket Girl II or something like that , but I'm going to get a new pair of Nike Miler spikes this year. Not that I recommend miler spikes for you lol.

Reply:When you go the the store, make sure to ask for sprinters track shoes. They will have a plastic plate on the front end. long distance racer spikes have a rubber soul and softer cushion.





As for what kind fo spikes, it depends on the track.


3/8 inch for rubber tracks or very hard dirt surfaces.


1/4 inch for regular dirt tracks in good conditio, can include rubber tracks. You may need to buy new sets for every other race as they can go dull.





As for name brands, try on different pairs to see what feels good. Take a few running steps in the store. Not all shoes feel the same. What ever feels good and comfortable is the right shoe. You'll see what I mean.
