What kind of running shoes should i get?
There is a difference between flats and spikes. Flats are more for for xc and distance running not on the track. Spikes are for the synthetic track. If you are planning on buying thim for xc i would recommend getting racing flats not spikes and vice versa. What I would recommend you to do is go down to your local running store, NOT SHOE STORE, tell them that you are running track or xc and you are looking for a good pair of racing flats or spikes (depending on what you want) they will tell you the pros and cons about each and you can actually try them on. There is no way for a person on Y!A to be able to tell you the exact shoe that you should get, every foot is different you need to go down and try them on and get the right one for you. I definitely recommend you to go get a pair because they will definitely shave time off. Good luck and have fun racing!

Reply:I just bought some Nike flats. (im 13 in 8th grade) I have not run in them so I do not know how good they are... but nike is very good and reliable.
Reply:for flats, i would go with Saucony or mizuno. They are very comfortable
Reply:im not sure what flats are but getting some xxc spikes will probably help you
