Quesetion about sprinting shoes (spikes)?

Im doing the 100 meter dash/4x100 meter sprint in a race


And i was wondering, should the spike shoes be tight on your feet or just a little loose to help you run faster


I wanna run my best at the race, so is there any other tips i should know about sprinting ?

Quesetion about sprinting shoes (spikes)?
Spikes should fit like a glove, they are tight, but do not hurt your feet.


When sprinting remember that your foot should contact the ground in a pawing motion with the foot coming rearward at the same speed you are moving forward.


Don't point the toes down, keep them up in a dorsi flexed position.


The foot should touch down only slightly in front, one of the biggest mistakes is too long a stride, running is a pushing motion not a pulling motion.
Reply:They should be tight on your feet, nice and secure.





Tips? Dont be the moron that jumps the gun. Always wait for the sound never anticipate.
