Running problems?

every time i run a race in my racing flats my footsteps are loud r my shoes too big or too small or what am i doing wrong i wear mizuno wave universe racing flats

Running problems?
You know that the shoes can't be too small one time and too large another time.

If you are slapping the ground then you are striking the ground with your foot rather than letting the heel contact the ground just in front of you coming in a rearward motion at the same speed you are moving forward. The foot will land mostly flat footed only a little heel first and then you roll off of the front of the foot.

Try to relax when you run, if you are tense you will tire faster.

If you correct the foot motion, plant, and contact point the noise will not be loud.

To increase your stride length you push off, do not reach out in front, because running is a pushing motion not a pulling motion.
Reply:make sure your shoes fit like a glove (tight but has breathing room)

if u're feet make sound when u run just run softer

its as easy as that

ive always had that problem but after a year of running soft, its 2nd nature now

there is nothing wrong wit you

good luck!!
Reply:While your shoes might be too big that has nothing to do with the sound of you running, unless you're wearing something WAY too big for you. Besides, your feet are going to swell when you're pounding away on the pavement so you're going to want your running shoes to be at least a half size bigger than normal. I believe that the sound is coming from the way your feet are hitting the ground. Try making it so that you roll through the placement of your feet from heel to toe. That should help to take care of some of the noise.
