Which shoes to wear? (running)?

I may have to run in a relay race tomorrow, and I can't seem to decide which shoes will be best for me.

I have three shoes that I'm thinking about wearing, so if you guys could sorta give me advice on which one I should wear and why, I'd really appreciate it.

1. Absolutely no heel, it is not a running shoe (it's like those all-star converse shoes). I think the no-heel thing is good cause then I have less chance of falling down. And it's the lightest shoe.

2. Once again, this is not a running shoe. It has a 1-cm heel thing (not exactly a heel). While I may have a greater risk of falling down, it gives me longer legs so I have a greater stride and I also feel like I have more strenght when I wear this shoe, I don't know why...

3.This is a reebok shoe, I don't think it's for running. It has a bit of heel, and I'm not sure what's so good about it. I haven't exactly been able to actually test this shoe out, but since it's reebok.I think it's the heaviest.

Thanks in advance!

Which shoes to wear? (running)?
This is the third time you've asked the same question.
Reply:well none of those seem like very good options. it's hard to say what is the best to run in. are you running short or long distance? well try running with each of those shoes and whatever you think you could go the fastest in wear those. however, if u plan to become an actual runner, buy new shoes.
Reply:You should actually get some real running shoes....
Reply:The Reebok, depending on what type of shoe it is. Running shoes have cusion in the heel and the toe, softening the impact when you run. A cross trainer has more side support, which means less cushioning but better for side to side movements like areobic and other gym type stuff.

Converse.. Well converse I just don't like, and are no good for running in my opinion, and any other shoe salesman's opinion. Go for a runner, or a cross trainer if you're doing more thasn running.
Reply:the reebok with the heel at least it has some cousion. You don't want to start on hard surface's.... you will get a high energy return but alot of pain. Start on dirt, grass ect....
Reply:probably the converse, that would be best for long distances and short distances alike out of those three. good luck
Reply:Wear shoes that fit well.
