I just bought the asics gt2130, and is this good for low arches?

K well im a distance/track runner so i am wondering if this is ok to use for both races, and for a low arches, when i tried it on and wore it, i felt like i was dragging something hardd and it made the inside of my foot hurt a little and that was from jogging. Should i return these and if so, what shoe should i get next?

The gt2130 is a good quality stability shoe but it doesn't appear to be a good shoe for your feet. I think you've already answered the question. Because it doesn't feel right when you run, you should return it and get something that does feel right. It won't feel any better when racing.

Try on several other shoes. See what works. Asics, Brooks, Mizuno, new Balance all make good quality shoes.

As far as racing, trainers are fine. When you get to the point when an extra 1 sec/lap makes a difference then buy some spikes (or racing flates) for racing.
Reply:Those are the same ones I have, they're good..But they won't really help you out all that much in long distance.
Reply:they are great .. as long as they feel good on you there perfect
