Why all the fuss about immigrants.?

The way I see it if it wasn't for many of all of yalls ancestors yall wouldn't even be here. Yalls ancestors were immigrants too. Irish and africans are two I'll use as an example. That is why America is a Melting Pot. There is no need for hate, do you think God has a race or a language? And please don't be so quick to judge unless you have walked in the others shoe. We, illegal or legal are humans too. So why do you all hate us?

Why all the fuss about immigrants.?
People like to be bitches

And I dont think America is in an 8 trillion dollar debt because they're feeding mexico, its because we're in dumbass Iraq.
Reply:ancestors or not...thats too far back to trace. just stay in the country you were born in...
Reply:arrrgh! this dumb question has been asked so many times why (other than the points)do people keep answering it?
Reply:I don't hate. Sorry if you find it hateful that I think people who immigrate to MY country should follow and obey the laws of MY country. Interesting how whenever someone disagrees with certain people we are labeled hateful. Couldn't be further from the truth.
Reply:There is a difference. Our ancestors were immigrants and they were not illegal. WE are not immigrants because we were BORN here. We have enough problems without taking on feeding Mexico too.
Reply:It's true, people are people, however, instead of going to countries illegally, they should arrive legally, to avoid deportation.
Reply:There is NO fuss about immigrants.

The fuss is about ILLEGAL immigrants.

They want to cut in line in fron of everyone else who is busting their buts to get here the right way. It is very unfair. and to top it off they are not asking, they are DEMANDING!

It is a big slap in the face to call you lazy and say we need them to survive and then demand amnesty.

There was absolutely no traffic on the road, the most stress free Monday I have EVER have, that's what they do for us. Clog up our freways and emergency rooms, but I bet you don't see those stories in the news.

Indigo - we alredy have that (it's 10 yrs), they are complaining about the wait, they want it now
Reply:Awesome point but sum ppl tend 2 still be ignorant dumb **********e*s
Reply:It boils down to economics, not human rights. Illegal aliens are here taking for free (healthcare more specifically) what we American have to pay for, in essence taking money out of our pockets. That's the argument, and a valid one. It's got nothing to do with hate, it's got to do with what's legal and right.
Reply:Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:The terms "immigrant" and "ILLEGAL immigrant are NOT interchangeable. For example if I tell you to screw in a light bulb you would put the light bulb in...If I asked you to Unscrew the light bulb, you would know that I meant to take it out. PREFIXES make a BIG difference in the meaning of a word.......yes the word 'prefix' is a transitive verb. The problem with your 'melting pot' statement is that every country has a quota for the amount of immigrants (hopefully legal) they allow in. The overwhelming number of illegal immigrants in the u.s. are from a single nation. We cannot allow around 5 million people from EVERY country in the world to enter the u.s. and then allow more to come every year. We would soon be overpopulated. Our natural resources could not handle it. There are people in the world who have waited DECADES for the immigration lottery to choose them. If a country does not control and/or regulate it's population, it could wind up in the same position as china or India. Not pretty. We must not play favorites. The U.S. is already viewed by many in the world as unfair. What about all the Sudanese people? There is a genocide going on in their country, and they can't cross the border into the u.s. for safety. The majority of illegal immigrants are coming over for a 'better life', well the Sudanese people just want the right to LIVE, forget education and money. There is no famine on the American continent. Why should we allow those illegals from countries that are not truly suffering to be granted amnesty for breaking the law, when the Sudanese people could benefit more. They would have the opportunity to live, not be wiped off the map. We could no more bring all the world's suffering masses into our country, than illegal immigrants have 'earned' a right to be here. The U.S. has a system of laws that should not be applied when and where we want them. It must apply to all people living within our nation, at all times. Your time and effort are better served trying to change (corrupt) governments that are not functioning, instead of the ones that are functioning (pretty well).
Reply:My ancestors came to this country legally. Learned the language. Became citizens. And even though they might have missed their homeland, this was their home and they were proud of that fact. Even going so far as to defend it.

So I'm real sorry if I don't have much compassion for people who come here illegally, don't bother to learn the language or become a citizen.

And for the record, the National Anthem is sung in English..PERIOD!
Reply:first it is not a fuss about immigrants it is a fuss about illegal immigrants. There is nothing wronmg with legal immigrants and as far as I am concerned they are no longer immigrants but Americans. Illegals congest freeways, overcrowd schools and tie up Ers as was seen in Los Angeles today. I live there and saw it first hand. Many do not pay taxes, if you want to argue that point check out how many have been filing back taxes to show that they have lived here for more then 4 years, because of the rumor of amnisty. If Mexico is so bad then stay there and fix it. In the 60's when the blacks got tired of beign treated like crap did they run to another country and force them to give them rights, no they stayed here and forced change.
Reply:yup even us natives are immmigrants, we came from asia.. so there
Reply:I don't really hate anyone. I think though that there should be some modification to the immigration policies to make it easier for people who want to come here to work to be able to, and gain citizen ship. Maybe a probationary period?

For example:

-If a person comes to the country and works for five years, then they should be able to gain citizenship.
Reply:The word immigrants do not exist toward human being,it's science fiction.
